Apres Ski Jewelry
Apres Ski Jewelry designs and manufactures jewelry and accessories made from skis. We strategically cut the skis to create one-of-a-kind, very colorful designs for jewelry and accessories, including coasters and custom furniture. Apres Ski Jewelry was started by Heather Youngdahl Mullins, a curious artist-builder-skiier. While running her own art, design and furniture business called Relevant ReUse with a mission of keeping materials out of the waste stream, she discovered that small scraps and off-cuts of interesting raw material, especially skis, can actually be quite beautiful and be made into jewelry and accessories. Voila! Apres Ski Jewelry was born. It turns out that especially in the mountains, everyone loves a unique colroful piece of jewelry or handcrafted item that tells (and shows) the story of a ski.
Raised in Colorado, Heather Mullins, is a Golden-based artist, educator, and advocate of hands-on learning and sustainability.
