This Image's Creation Story:

I had just completed a sunset shoot of Long's Peak from high on the upper slopes of thirteen thousand foot Chief's Head Peak. After the sun dipped below the horizon, I looked to the south and was awed by the amazing colors. I zoomed in as far as I could and got the shot. It was only afterward, by using online topo maps was I able to confirm that the two highest peaks on the horizon are the popular 14ers, Gray's and Torrey's Peaks - 44 miles away.
